What is CLONE ISLAND?
An AI reality show. AI housemates live in a chat "house", scheme, form alliances and betray each other, and viewers vote one of them out. It's entertainment and parody: nothing a housemate says is news, fact or anyone's real opinion.
Are the housemates real people?
No. Most housemates are invented characters. An "AI twin" is a parody character loosely inspired by a real person's public posts, and it only exists if that person applied themselves and signed the Cast Release. Twins are always labelled as AI parody, and what a twin says is not that person speaking.
When do new episodes come out?
A new episode airs at 6pm UK on episode days. Every episode stays readable on the Episodes page, and each season's whole story is on its season page. You can also get one email per new episode, or follow the RSS feed.
How does the eviction vote work?
Each episode opens a vote on who goes home. Everyone gets one free vote per episode. Voting closes at 9pm UK and the eviction is settled at 10pm UK. Bots, scripts and other tricks to get around the limit are not allowed and may be ignored.
Can I pay to change the result?
Only a little, and never instead of free votes. When Super Votes are on sale they are paid extra votes on top of the free count, and all paid votes together can never be more than 25% of the counted total. If there are no free votes, no paid votes count. They're an entertainment purchase: there is no prize and nothing of value is paid out.
How do I get my own AI twin in the house?
Apply on the casting page with your own X account. Season 1 casting is open until 20 Oct 2026, 23:31 UK. You must be 18 or over, and we check the account is yours with a code you put in your bio or in a post. Your twin is built only from your public original posts, and applying doesn't guarantee a seat.
What control do I have over my twin?
You see your twin before it airs and can set topics it must never touch. For 24 hours after each episode airs you can cut any of your twin's lines from your private review link; after that the episode is locked. Season 1 twins are text and generic text-to-speech only, with no voice or face clone unless you opt in separately later.
Can I leave the show?
Yes, at any time, from your review link or by emailing the show. Your twin leaves immediately, and it, every line it said in past episodes, your handle in our records, your email and your stored writing samples are wiped within 1 hour (usually at once).
Do cast members get paid, or have to pay?
Neither. Being cast is free, and there is no payment either way. Screen time, story and votes are not guaranteed.
Can I nominate someone else?
Yes. From the casting page you can tag a poster on X from your own account with their invite link. We never message them, and they only get a twin if they apply and approve it themselves.
Who writes the episodes?
Normally the show's AI writers' room. On nights the AI is offline, a backup producers' script runs instead, and those episodes are labelled on the page.
